Megapode Resort is located just 4 kilometers away from the airport amidst lush green hills. It is sprawled across 7.5 acres of manicured lawns and offers a breath-taking view of the Bay of Bengal and the Port Blair harbour. To commemorate the rich flora and fauna of the islands, the resort is named after the endemic scrubfowl called the Nicobar Megapode. These birds are also known as the mound-builders or incubator birds as they build the largest nest-mounds of sand to incubate their eggs.

Megapode Resort has a multi-cuisine restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a choice of A la carte menu that includes Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. Tandoor is also served during dinner. Our resort in Port Blair also offers a well-stocked bar serving a range of premium IMFL and cocktails. The bar is named after the Mount Harriet National Park - which is home to some of Andaman's highest peaks and dense evergreen forests.
The resort is befitting to host business meetings and conferences in Port Blair. It offers one of the largest air-conditioned halls in Port Blair, with PA system, LCD projector, laptop, printer and other necessary amenities.
The café serves various varieties of fresh brewed hot and cold coffee along with range of cookies and bakery items. The coffee shop has latest Lavazza Nuova Simonelli Musica machine which can make both lattes and cappuccinos. Megapode Resort has also started in house bakery making various varieties of breads, cookies, cakes, etc. The coffee shop will operate everyday from 8.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 4.00 PM to 9.00 PM.
